Maroune Fellaini (over Fabregas)!

Maroune Fellaini, the dude with the funny hairdo (or one of the most unique hair in Premier League). Or Cesc Fabregas, the highly rated guy from Barcelona.

Fabregas is highly rated from his days as a Gunner, a creative midfielder with passes completed and assists as his weapons in the statistic department. But Fabregas is not a tough tackler despite his years of experience in the premier league with Arsenal. Fabregas is not the Patrick Viera type, close him down from passing effectively he will be pretty “average”. Fabregas will strive in a team where the emphasis is on passing hence his success as Arsenal. He is also a home-grown Barcelona player having declared “I’m back home” after his move from Arsenal 2 years ago. From the reported news lately, Fabregas has more chances staying where he is at Barcelona then making a move to Manchester United.
Fellaini meanwhile, according to Lou Macari, a former Manchester United player, give you goals compare to Cesc Fabregas. Physically Fellaini also has the edge. He is 1.94m, a height that will give aerial presence for his team. He is also right up there with assists and passing but his ability to control the midfield and having the ability to play as a holding midfielder will give him the edge over Fabregas. David Moyes had even stated during his tenure as Everton’s manager that Fellaini’s future lies in the holding midfielder role.
Additionally compare to Fellaini, Fabregas will command a much higher salary as well as transfer fees. Manchester United’s needs in the midfield areas encompass just a creative and forward going midfielder (we have Shinji Kagawa or even Ryan Giggs for that). Fellaini is also under the radar of both Arsenal and Chelsea. His chance for a move to bigger clubs with Champions League football is now. For those reasons most Manchester United fans would go for Fellaini over Fabregas (Arsenal can have Fabregas). Your say?
