By
now the transfer market is dominated mainly by these names – Gareth Bale, Wayne
Rooney, and Luiz Suarez – again. While there are movements lower down the
league these three players still dominate the headlines....
Luiz
Suarez, according to the latest news, following his ‘outrages’ attack on
Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers may be left to ‘rot in reserve’. This term is
nightmare for footballer, especially those with international football
ambitions with the World Cup less than one year away. The official line is that
Suarez had a foot injury and therefore did not travel for the last pre season
friendly. Realistically almost everyone knows that relationship is now strained
with Arsene Wenger Suarez only savior. No, as of now nobody heard Real Madrid
calling. And Suarez’s advisors’ intention to bring this matter (forcing a move)
to court just got shot down by the PFA.
Wayne
Rooney – looking abroad. That is how the news describes the Rooney situation. A
club line Manchester United will always be bigger than one single player. And
if United decides that they will not sell a star player to a rival, most likely
David Moyes and co wil do just that – not selling to local ricals. And Real
Madrid aint calling either. Barcelona seems more interested in David Luiz, same
goes for Bayern Munich. That leaves Rooney with the ‘French-ies’. It is either
the two of the moneybags from the French Ligue. PSG or Monaco (with average
attendance of ) as the likely destination for Rooney. If one recalled, there is
however a strong speculative news linking Wayne Rooney to PSG towards end of
last season. We just have to wait and see.
Gareth
Bale – no agreement on fees. Daniel Levy at work and at his best. Almost every
soul that follows the Bale saga knows he is almost certain to leave. Only
issues holding back is how Tottenham Hotspurs can make Real Madrid sing to
their tunes (how Daniel Levy can make Florentino Perez sing to his tune).
As for Cristiano Ronaldo , we are still waiting and hopeful (even a little).
