Manchester United Vs Liverpool: No more Young, give us Kagawa!

As well as Nani, the da Silva twins and Javier Hernandez! Given the results so far David Moyes may just well go for the break – and change the team that he had preferred for the last 6 games. After all it is in Manchester United’s tradition to field either players who are not playing regularly or youngster at a Capital One  Cup (formerly League Cup) fixture.

Manchester United Vs Liverpool: The Return of the ‘Biter’

Any Manchester United Vs Liverpool game is exciting given the histories between the two most successful clubs in English football, and this one is no exception despite being a Capital One Cup fixture (formerly League Cup). Both managers will be targeting the Capital One Cup as a source of silverware as well as opportunities to give squad players and youngsters a chance to play first team football. However this fixture will have an added spice – the return of the ‘biter’ a.k.a. Luiz Suarez.

Transfer News/Updates: Desperation signing time!

Less than 12 hours to go, we take a look at Premier League title contenders’ last minutes probable signings. And out of the six from the Manchester clubs, and the London’s top clubs (Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs), Spurs, Chelsea and City had done their signings – the bulk of them. Only Arsenal and Manchester United are now frantically working out last minutes deals.

Liverpool 1 Manchester United 0: Ouch.. that hurts!!!

Never mind if they said Liverpool took their chances well, got the lucky break and hang on their life for it. Or, David Moyes saying Manchester United actually played well (in his words – “the best so far this season). Any defeat hurts – what more against Liverpool!

Samuel Eto’o has arrived at Stamford Bridge as a blues, joining former teammate Willian. Arsene Wenger goes for another free signing in Mathieu Flamini. Elseway, Real Madrid looks set to pull down the stage for Gareth Bale.

Rooney, Bale, Suarez and Ronaldo: Nobody going anywhere, just yet

With two weeks of transfer activities remaining a lot still can happen. But the sagas, the standoff and the controversies aside, no deal had been done. Even though Wayne Rooney and Luiz Suarez are reported to be eyeing a move, their respective clubs, Manchester United and Liverpool are standing firm with their decisions not to sell their star players. The Gareth Bale negotiation meanwhile, is supposed to be ongoing..

Take Your Pick - Luiz Suarez for £40+£1, £50++ million? : You got to be kidding?

What is Liverpool waiting for? Forget the £100 million Brendan Rodgers ‘highlighted’ when comparing Luiz Suarez to Gareth Bale. Cash in now since there is no Champions League lucrative revenue this season anyway. Cash in now before Arsene Wenger returns from dreamland. Luiz Suarez is disrespecting the once great Liverpool, disrespecting his manager and his teammates, and even former closest rival’s fans are paying a lot of attention to this Uruguayan biter.

Transfer News/ Updates – 7 August: Real Madrid could still end up with the creams of the Premier League!

Imagine this, Gareth Bale, Wayne Rooney and Luiz Suarez joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid. Joining them will be other new signing – Isco, Aier Illarramendi, Daniel Carvajal and Casemiro. Alright then, fantasy football many would say, but it could still happen….

Transfer News/ Updates: 6 August – “Luiz Suarez same planet as Gareth Bale” – Brendan Rodgers

This makes everyone laugh (almost, with the exception of some Liverpool fans whom are still blinded by Suarez ‘extraordinary world class abilities’ on the field). If the sum of £100 million is being mentioned for the transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, then Luiz Suarez, according to Liverpool should be worth £100 million! Now we all wonder what they are smoking up there at Anfield?..

Luiz Suarez Saga: To laugh or to sneer?

Admittedly, as a Manchester United die-hard fan, any news from Liverpool can be interesting given the history of rivalries between these two clubs. Whether one sees it as sportingly mannered bantering or going to the extreme (mocking of the Munich crash by Liverpool fans) the intensity of bantering between the two clubs supporters rivaled, and even exceed that of El Classico in Spain.

Luiz Suarez for £40 (or more) million? And Wayne Rooney for £30 million?
